Anniv anniv.. 28th

Got the idea to make this piece from flickr friends.. they are making wall decorations from these round thing, I forgot what it's called, haha..

I thought this might look cute on Indra's mum crafting place and as an anniversary gift for the 28th wedding anniversary too, haha.. finished it more than a month ago and supposed to be given on September 20th, but Indra's mum went to Singapore to accompany her mother do a medical check up, then on Lebaran holiday it's my family and I who went out of town.. so the gift was delayed till today.. weleh weleh suinee.. but I still hope she like it (^^,)* sorry for the belated gift Mum :p

Walau aku g sempet ikutan makan2 d Pizza gara2 delay.. kmu masih tak kasih kado.. wakakakak.. nagih nih cerita e.. hohoho..

Lagi nyoba kreasi baru.. pattern kue kecil (strawberry and biscuit cake) dari buku, kelinci dari buku Aranzi Aronzo and huruf "e" kreasi sendiri.. dijadiin satu buat gantungan kunci..

Copycat or plagiat? How should we call it?

Ugh ugh ugh.. I'm so pissed!!

Finally made a message reply for a friend of mine, Jiewa. He's asking about flannel handicraft for his girlfriend.
I'm so so so happy when I found someone whose also interested in crafting.. especially flannel.. so I end up searching for crafters web addresses that I often visit, the blog group I joined, copy paste the addresses for him.. I enjoy it, because I also can see their creations, who knows they'll give me some inspiration (^^,)*

And THEN!! DANG!!
I'm so pissed when I found this multiply user.
She sells flannel creations, her handmade.. but she put others creations photos on her site and claimed them as her own (by putting her shops' stamps on them).
Well, it is up to her if she took the pictures from the book, if she made her flannel stuff based on it, but the other crafters photos, please deh.. I recognise most of them.. I've seen them on flickr, multiply etc..

I've read this kind of case in some of my inspirations blogs (other crafters blog that has inspired me, and usually are foreigners, not Indonesian), never thought it could happen to me too..
I guess that's why you really should put a watermark on your published on websites photos.
I really encourage you all to do that.. I think I'm going to start mine too.. HA!

I personally, sometimes loves to copy and re-make others people creations that really interest me. I think they're so talented and I adore them, and I keep them for myself.
Sometimes I give it to friends, still, with a knowledge that I have someone else as an example.
Never, in my life.. copy other peoples' creations (photos or stuff) and claimed them as my own.

Domo kun applique for beb..

My beb told me one day, he just ruined his green Giordano t-shirt.. accidentally kecoret pake spidol. And he planned to make drawings to cover it..
I told him "hey, why don't I make an applique of your favorite character.. then you can sew it on to cover the mark?" haha.. there comes the idea to make Domo kun applique..
I didn't know he likes Domo kun until he saw little Domo plush hanging on my bag (sometime after new year) hehe..

Wee.. when I was sittin' on Mum's desk at the office today, I just found out that she has an internet connection on her laptop!! YAY!! And it's real fast!! Took me only second to upload pictures and it's just great! langsung deh transfer2 foto ke lappy and upload2 and update blog post yang mestinya dah d post beberapa hari sebelum, hehehe.. gile dehh..

Alangkah bahagia nya.. hehehe..

Ohya, hari ini finally nonton lagi sama beb setelah sekian lamaa..

Dia udah nonton tapi nonton lagi malem ini buat nemenin aku.. hehe..
Pulang'e dinner di KFC, lagi kepengen, trus beb dwanti2 ama mami e besok2 g boleh lagi makan KFC, dah 2 hari berturut2, hahaha..


And this week has been a crafty week for me.. I made three little flannel dolls already..
Guess it's because I had the time.. I really like it when I make things free-hand (meaning I just cut the fabric without following patterns, add this and that, don't know how it would came up), but the trouble is when you want to make another one.. hahaha..

Badminton, jalan-jalan & model..

Kemarin malem habis badminton nih.. hehehe.. tapi aku g ikut.. cuma adekku and temen2 seng cowok.. yg cewek2; Yeane, Efata and me kabur ke TP, hahaha..
Kita lebih milih jalan2 olahraga kaki and mata daripada memeras keringat malam hari, hahaha..

Seru juga, lama g jalan2 cewek2 doang.. keluar masuk toko, ngudal ngadul (ngaduk-aduk, red.) barang diskonan tapi trus g jadi dibeli, nyoba2in kosmetik (si Yeane tuh) trus nongkrong2 d Dante sambil liat2 facebook (maklum, internet gratis) sambil nge-gosip.. hahaha.. tapi bukan nyebarin berita buruk loh, jangan salah.. (^^,)*

Abis muter2, barang yg diincar pun sudah didapat.. akhirnya, kita kembali ke lapangan badminton buat jemput adekku and suami2 mereka.
Nyampe d sono.. hehehe.. kesempatan.. kan lom pernah foto2 d lapangan badminton, jadi deh kita bertiga yang narsis2 abis ini minta foto in pake cam hape nya adekku.. tapi amat sayang. yg moto gemetaran abis kebanyakan nyemes, jadi nya blurry semua deh..
And keliatan kaya effect lomo yah? hehe.. gimana gitu warna nya.

Kemarin aku ada bikin nama kayak label gitu deh buat ditempel di belakang hasil2 craft, cuma utak atik d photoshop and jadi nya simple banget, hehe.. cuma try-out print d kertas and tempel pake plakban. Yang ditempelin juga baru satu, boneka dalem frame pesenan Dora.
Disitu juga dcantumin nama blog yang mau dibikin khusus for my craft and mudahan ntik ada yg berkunjung kesana and naksir2 craft2 bikinan ku,hehehe..
Tapi sementara masih renovasi,hahaha.. lagian barang2 nya lom pada selesai dibikin.
Tunggu aja tanggal main nya.. pasti dpost disini deh (^^,)*

Kenapa nama nya Stitchy Love?
Well, karena pengen supaya ada berbau2 jahit2nya.. trus klo love-nya sih g sengaja..
Pas nyoba2 cari nama blog, susah amat,, banyak yg pikiran nya sama.. Nah, pas coba ini, bisa!
Seneng deh.. lagian pas juga kan.. barang2 craft ini dibikin or dipesan dengan penuh cinta buat org yang dikasihi.. bisa temen, kerabat, kekasih, keluarga, de-el-el deh..

New framed creation..

Yay!! I just made another framed couple..
It's an order from a friend, as a gift for her boyfriend on their 4th anniversary (which is today! congrats yoo..). She asked me to make one like I gave to Indra's parent and mine.. but I told her, well, why not make something a bit different..
Before the dolls are pretty big, so they took the whole space in the frame, so I asked if it will be okay if I make the dolls smaller so we can play a bit with the background and she didn't mind. YAY!! What a happy feeling when someone believes you to do the design and decide everything.. but of course, I did my best and when I sent her the pictures, she loves it. Happy again!!

Little bird & flower flannel..

Udah dua hari ini d office ku kemasukan burung gereja.. g tau juga dia masuk dari mana.
Yang kemarin nabrak kaca pintu depan and dead seketika itu juga, saknoo (kasihaan).. yang hari ini, nabrak tapi ndak mati, cuma bingung tok.. hehehe..
Ditangkep and mau dilepasin keluar.. sempet ga bisa terbang beberapa saat, terbang pendek trus jatuh.. tapi abis gitu sukses jg dia.. hehe.. lucu yaa?



Ini foto jepit ama bros kecil yg aku bikin dari flanel.
Dapet ide nya pas liat2 foto2 flickr yg aku saved dari internet. Yg niru yg bros nya, hehe.. cuma ganti warna, abis lucu sih..
Kalo yg jepit yah karena udah bikin bros bunga, jadi pengen bikin jepit bunga.. mumpung ada jepit Iie ku yg hiasan nya putus, jadi aku ganti pake ini.. hehe.. sweet juga kan??
Jadi punya ide jualan lagi.. doh! I hope I can manage some time to make supplies to sell, hehe.. *fingers crossed

Wedding piggies, Christmas ornaments & a guitar..

Minggu kemarin sibuuuk banget, lumayan lah..

Banyak kerjaan yang deadline minggu kemarin, makanya, pas laptop mati, pas pula aku harus kerja rodi, hahaha..

Salah satu nya, aku mesti nyelesain pesenan boneka flanel temen ku, Helen.

Dia mau kasih hadiah buat temen nya yg married tgl 9 November barusan. Sebelumnya aku udah bikin yg kaya gini buat mama papa ku and mami papi nya Indra buat 25th wedding anniversary mereka, cuma aku bikin nya cowok sama cewek. Nah, si helen minta nya diganti babi cewek ama cowok karena temen nya seneng banget sama karakter babi. Cute choice!!
Plus, aku juga jadi bisa eksperimen baru, hehe..

Didalem nya aku kasih dekorasi seperti gerbang and ditiap sisi ada burung2 kecil sepasang jg. Aku suka banget ama burung2 ini. (^^,)*
Trus, kalo dulu untuk lantai nya aku pake serabut kelapa yg udah dibersihin itu, yg banyak dijual, tapi kemarin lagi kehabisan, jadi pake bunga2 kering warna warni deh.. dan g kalah oke hasil nya, hehe..

pake dasar warna ijo dari clay, tapi kayak nya pas kering jadi terlalu terang.. ditambahin bunga2 supaya kelihatan lebih kalem. Tulisan nya pake kuas kecil & cat air.. ulang berkali2 sampe bener, hehe..













Seneng deh, akhirnya pesenan satu ini kelar juga, trus Helen bilang bagus. Bener nya Helen ada pesen satu lagi, bikin poo (sorry, artinya e'ek) yang lucu dari clay kata nya.. waduuuh, bingung juga. Ada ngebikin, tp kayak nya kurang cute. Besok2 deh d upload foto nya, hehe..

Selain menuhin pesanan, aku jg lagi bikin proyek buat Christmas. Kan udah bulan November nih, semangat Natal udah mulai kerasa, buat aku sih. Temen2 crafters yang d flickr juga, secara mereka orang luar yang mayoritas Kristiani, jadi akhir Oktober aja mereka sudah bikin2 hiasan Natal untuk dijual, kasih ke teman2 atau pake sendiri.
Aku juga jadi pengen ngebuat beberapa hiasan Natal. Rencana sih mau dijual d toko gereja, ntar keuntungan nya mau dikasih buat sumbangan pembangunan gereja. Mudah2an deh persiapan nya lancar and cita2 ku buat jualan hiasan Natal ini bisa terwujud. hehe..

Ini beberapa yg udah aku buat..
Gambar yg pertama, pembatas buku dari stick ice cream dengan tema Natal. Nanti diujung bawah nya mau ditulisin Merry Christmas dan kata2 Christmas lain nya.. Ini ide and design sendiri.
Gambar yang kedua, ada Santa Claus, Reindeer (rusa) dan 5 pohon cemara. Itu rencana nya bakal jadi hiasan gantung. Kalo yang ini liat dari buku flanel ku.
Mudah2an org2 gereja suka and pada beli nanti, tapi yang pasti aku harus bikin stock nya dulu, hehe..











Ohya, tambah lagi satu kerjaan, ada temen flickr yg pengen swap (tukeran) sama aku.
Dia pengen kalo bisa aku bikin in dia gitar kaya yang aku kasih buat Indra and dia bakal tukerin aku barang2 (bisa jadi kain, kancing atau bahan2 craft atau barang lain) yang seharga sama gitar ku. Kalo bisa aku mesti selesai in sebelum tgl 18 ini, soal nya aku mesti nemenin papa check up lagi, sekalian dibawa, jadi g perlu ongkos kirim, hehe.. bisa gak yah aku.. *teler duluan.. haha..

More and more books..

Yoohoo! I love this, a package from Wulan just arrived today..
I ordered some old old Japanese felt books a while ago, hehe.. I'm so crazy bout felt (or flannel some of you may say).
Buku-buku yang dia punya ini, buku-buku felt yang udah kunooo banget, udah g keluar lagi sih kata nya.
Yang paling depan tuh yang aku paling suka. Ada bikin momotaro, raksasa-raksasa lucu, lucky cat, pinokio, dll..
Buku ini pernah dterbitin Indo nya, pake judul Seri Membuat Sendiri - Boneka Flannel, ada edisi 1-7. Aku cuma punya no 1, 2 , 3 and 6. Yang lainnya fotokopi punya temen, soal nya jaman dulu aja dah susah banget nyari nya. Trus mana yg no. 1 ilang lagi. Kalo ga salah, ada temen yang minjem tapi g dibalikin, trus aku lupaaa lagi minjemin ke siapa.. hiks hiks.. tp dengan ada nya buku ini, hehe.. terobatilah sudah (^^,)*

Yea.. I like books, craft books, design books, comic books, fairy tale books, children books..
Call me crazy but it's true.. kalo berkunjung ke manaaa aja, yang pingin dilihat pasti toko buku nya.. ke Lafayette, orang-orang bingung beli LV, nyari baju ini itu.. aku melenggang aja ke toko buku.. walau ga beli, liat-liat aja dah puass.. lagian disana mahal, itung euro, hehee.. k Jakarta juga pengen nya ke Kino.. k SG too.. yang paling bahagia kalo ke China, murah meriah, padahal asli beli d toko buku gede gitu loh.. dibandingkan k negara lain, barang yang sama, bisa 1 banding 3.. weleh weleh..
Kadang nyesel juga sih, seng lain dapet baju atau tas yang cantik-cantik, aku dapet e buku.. tapi, asik-asik aja tuh, hahaha..
Ntar malem sebelum tidur, bakal mandang2in tuh buku-buku, hehehe..

btw, si Wulan baik jg, dikasih DIY kit, bikin dompet and sampul buku felt.. sweet (^^,)*

My blooming brooch..

Hehe.. nama nya juga hobby.. trus lagi mood, gimana yah.. hehe..
Just made this tonight, spent for about 5 hours, from 6 to 11 p.m. Not that long actually, just that.. I also did other things during the hours.. dinner, took a bath, watch TV while sewing.. so it's kinda long.. hehe..

I adapt the pattern from this book. It has so many flowers patterns in it.. luv it! In fact, I love all my craft books. I can spend a day just by looking at them, flipping their pages one by one, wondering which one to make.. haha.. parah yo?!
The size of the brooch is about 8x8cm.. kinda big too ya.. but I think it might look lovely on a bag or something.. I'll try it on tomorrow and post the photo (^^,)*

by the way.. interested with the brooch? just let me know..

A letter from my very first customer (^^,)*

I just got an email today.. from Layla, my first customer.. she's so excited in receiving the bookmarks she ordered from me!! YAY!!
This is my first order, so yea.. I have a right to feel this way kan? hehehe.. that's what Indra said.
I'm so thankful that she likes the bookmarks I made her. She let me do all the designs for 28 pieces as long as it's girly, with butterfly ornaments, flowers, cupcakes, anything.. it's for her friends as farewell gifts. *hi hi.. seneng deh kalo karya2 kita disuka..

Hehehe.. kira-kira ini lah yang ditanyakan ke saya akhir-akhir ini..
Tapi udah kan? akhirnya ter-post-kan juga semuanya.. fiuhh..
Well, actually, selain kerjaan kantor yang numpuk (udah selesai sekarang), aku juga dapet order pertama ku.. hehe..
Kalian tahu kan aku suka bikin handicraft dari flannel. Boneka mostly, hiasan kulkas, coasters, bookmark, dll.. and beberapa aku pasang di flickr and baru aja beberapa bulan ini aku punya multiply. Disitu terkenal dengan orang-orang jualan kan.. hehehe.. masih pajang sebagai collections sih, belum mulai jualan. Rencana nya mau bikin-bikin dulu buat ngumpulin stock, trus ntar baru foto2 barang yg dijual di upload.. tapi yah, biasa.. rencana (hampir) tinggal rencana. Stock ga kebikin-bikin karena ada hal ini itu jadi belum sempet ngerjain hobby.
Pas kemarin baru pulang tour, ada yg message, bisa ga dia pesen bikinin bookmark.. 20 biji.

Habis gitu, kepikir juga, apa ga nekat aja.. kalo ga diterima, ga mulai-mulai juga kan. So yea.. I take it. She hope that she can get the bookmarks by this weekend.. And pesenan dia tiba-tiba bertambah lagi jadi 30. Karena tidak mau mengecewakan langganan pertama, I took it.
Tapi trus.. aku kewalahan juga.. kerja kantor, ada temen ultah, kerjaan tambahan from my Mum, and malem ngerjain orderan ini. Yayang ku juga sampe sakno aku cuekkin, maaf ya beb.. walhasil, mata ku sekarang kaya panda, ngembarin si Po.. ada lingkaran item gitu.
Kapok? ga juga sih..
Tapi dari sini aku belajar, kalo mau bener-bener ngerjain ini, aku mesti ngatur waktu yang bener.. tul?! And ga sembarangan nerima order, kalo pesen banyak dadakan, oohhh.. rada kapok, hahaha..
Another advantage too, otak ku mikir terus, design apa ya habis ini, setelah ini kira-kira aku mau bikin apa lagi.. dll.. seneng deh..

My new camera case..

Zai Banjar de shi hou really really have nothing to do, especially with my Mum having a new assistant to do her work. I was kinda, only become a driver.. hahaha.. drive and pick my little brother to his school (he's in kindergarten), drive my Mum to the Church or banks, well, gitu deeh..
Thank God I brought my Bad Badtzmaru floormat, it's not finished yet, but it has some progress (^^,)* and so lucky that I keep some of my flannel supplies in Banjar too..
I only made one new flannel thing, which is a camera case! (so obvious, you might have guess it from the post title).

That small pocket, you can use it to keep some extra batteries or memory cards. I plan to make some more and maybe for a start of my flannel online shop? Still a lot to go.. for sure, I have to have some stocks right?

I made this for my younger brother.. A tadpole from felt.
It came out rather small, not satisfying.. next time, I'll make him a bigger one, one that's hug able. (^^,)*
