Been wanting to take a silhouette photo of myself while pregnant..

So, today.. with my iPhone 4s and a capdase tripod hubby bought me.. I took a selfie of myself, YAY!

I love the result!! Love the big belly, love my pointy navel.. hahaha..

I just LOVE it!

And I also love that hubby said that it's great I can take such a gorgeous photo, muach, muach, muach!

And the next thing you know.. 

I'm using this photo on every profile pictures, haha.. 

Going to scrap it sometime soon :-)

The Adventure of Two Little Toof

YAY!!
Finally, after a long wait of pre-ordering.. waiting for the book to be published, and finally sent to my place.. It has arriiiived!!!

I present you My Milk Toof, The Adventure of Ickle and Lardee, by Inhae Lee.


I've been following the blog since I can remember..
My Milk Toof, is a photographic stories of two little baby teeth, named Ickle and Lardee.
The author of the book, Inhae Lee, which is now also served as these little cute teeth caretaker.. claimed (I don't know how to say it in other words :p ) that these baby teeth are her long lost (fell out) milk teeth that have returned. They had came back to live with her..
Awww! They're just so cute (^^)*

This book contains the photographic stories of Ickle's and Lardee's adventure together.
When Ickle first came to Inhae's place and getting used to the life in her house, and when Lardee came along.. and loads and loads of other cute stuff and mischief they can manage to do.
Ickle and Lardee are handcrafted by Inhae lee herself, along with most of the props she has for the stories. Lardee has a really cute red bag which I think is magic, since it can contains loads and loads of things in there. Cute suitcase, bath tub, etc.

My husband and I, surely going to treasure this book.
We even bought extra copies from Amazon!! Crazy aren't we?
You won't regret having this one :D

Him & photography..

I think I have shared this before..
My fiancee started to love photography for about (more or less) two years ago.. and yep he's loving it more and more.. I saw his works, his trainings.. going hunting here and there, making new friends from photography club and finally made his own group..
With his friends, he saved some money to invite models, make up artist and also to upgrade their tools, photography gadget from lenses, to light, other photography accessories and of course the camera itself.
I like photography myself.. maybe coz its in the blood.. my dad used to like it too, he still tho.. it's just that he got some problem with his eyes that gives him some limitation to continue on photography..
I like using LOMO cameras.. haha.. yea.. they're really jadul and a bit ma fan to deal with.. since it uses negative film and they need to be processed first before we can see our shots results.
I don't really understand using DLSR cameras yet.. they have so many features, but I hope to be able to operate one soon or later.. so I can help my fiancee a bit. hehe..

By the way.. I'm really proud of him.. he has made this hobby become a business.. with some of his best mates, he made a photography service, BITe Photography..
They already made quite a lot projects till now.. from birthdays, fashion shows, pre-weds and weddings.. wee.. so, are you interested? just click on the Facebook profile to find out (^^,)*

I'm wishing him all the best with this business and I hope I'll be able to help him..
I'm starting to help him at the office too, his main job beside photography.. although up to now, still haven't help him a lot besides helping him arrange the room.. I'll be learning a lot soon I hope.. *fingers crossed*

My 365 project..

As I said in my 2010 resolution point no. #3, haha.. I have a 365 project..
I'm going to post at least 1 photo of my flannel creation. It can be the flannel I made on that day or some old ones I haven't published yet.. I hope I can make at least 1 each day.. jadi skill bertambah and koleksi pun bertambah.. haha..
Habisnya, koleksi buku tambah banyak.. tp flannel yg d bikin g nambah2.. mungkin memang mesti terima orderan yah.. supaya makin semangat, haha..
Oh well.. I made special flickr for them and another blog about flannel only.. hehe..

My fiancee also have a 365 project of his own, 1 photo per day as he likes photography so much.. and my future sister in law, Dian, has a 365 post project.. she's going to make a post entry in her blog.. at least one each day too.. WOW!!

My Milk Toof by Inhae..

I found a really cute blog when I was browsing on Facebook today.. a friend of mine likes a photo uploaded there and I clicked it.. and wooow.. I just couldn't stop browsing on the blog.

It's a story about two milk teeth character created by Inhae, an artist from Berkeley, California.
They were called ickle and Lardee, and she named her blog My Milk Toof.. visit the blog here.. and if you want to become the fan in FB here..

She made little tooth characters from polymer clay with a lot of expressions and then, took sequence photos of them, and make them cute adorable stories.. The photos were taken greatly too that I love starring at them (^^,)* I might want to take some for my desktop wallpaper..
I hope Inhae is going to make comic books, calendar, or toys of the MMT soon..

Many years later, a little tooth was standing at my door. It looked familiar. Its name was ickle. Welcome home, my milk toof!

Oh dear, ickle has two new baby teeth growing in! When your first teeth come in, it's always very itchy and sore. To soothe the pain, ickle has been nibbling on things all over the house.

Facial, Toy Festival & glasses..

Hi hi.. kemarin abis facial nih.. hmm.. enak deh d pamper, hehehe..
Trus kemarin juga sekalian ke Surabaya Toy Festival 2009 yg diada'in d Galaxy Mall.. my boyfriend minta tolong diliatin Gundam kit.. hehe.. jadilah melenggang kesana ('^,)*
Seru juga loh.. dua taon lalu (taon 2007), juga sempet ngunjungin.. pas yg diada'in d PTC. Seru, sempet foto2 sama anak2 nya yg lagi cosplay, hehehe.. kali ini g foto.. lucu jg seh mereka, pake baju e Kamen Rider n sumting2 I don't know the name.. trus ada jg anak buah e Darth Vader (did I write the name right?), well, asik2 deh.. tapi ya itu, mereka tampil nya di atas panggung, malu kaliii naik ke atas.. jadi aku foto2 aja dari bawah.
















Pas keliling2 and nanya2, ternyata mahal banget yah mainan2 kecil itu.. bisa beratus2 ribu, ampe berjuta2 juga ada.
Yang namanya hobby tuh gila2an ya? Berani keluar duit berapa pun, apa juga dibela2in kadang. Pernah ada temen yg cerita, klo hobi ikan, apalagi arowana.. ugh!! edan!! ada org Jepang yg ampe keluar duit seratus juta untuk beli ikan arowana albino yang panjang nya baru sepuluh cm.. bru nyampe d Jepang seminggu, ikan nya mati lagi.. omg.. kalo aku langsung pingsan kali klo ampe mati gitu ikannya.. dibikin sushi kali ya ma dia abis mati gitu.. hehe..
Tapi emang bener sih, aku jg kalo dah liat2 buka craft (flanel dll yg boneka2 gitu), langsung kalap.. pengeeeen semuanya dibeli ampe si dompet nangis, hehehe..

Kalo kalian ada hobby apa? Jangan bilang tidur ama napas yaa? hahaha..

Ohya, kemarin juga sempet chat2 ama adekku pas mau bobo.. ntik tgl 16 dia mau pulang dr Shanghai, kangeeen.. hehe..
sempet minta oleh2 macem2, sandal crocs, kamera lomo (yg ini lom tentu dibeli'in, males dia tokonya jauh, hiks) and kacamata2 bolong.. hahaha.. (ceritanya mau buat foto2..).
Pas lg chat, dia sempet bergaya2 pake tuh kacamata, ku curi2 foto, pas dia tau teriak2, ehhh trus gaya2 lagi.. foto lagi.. hahaha.. dasar adek narsis.. hohoho..
Dia bilang jgn d upload d FB, I said "oke", but I can put it here, right? it's not FB, hahahaha..cute eh?! hahahaha..

Creating the Lomo Effect..

So curious banget sama hasil kamera2 Lomo ku (Colorsplash 2nd roll, Supersampler & Robot Disderi 3 lens). Yang pasti Supersampler ama Disderi lom isa dipake soal nya cuaca akhir2 ini sering banget mendung ga ada matahari.. yg ada malah ga jadi semua ntar.. soal nya ga ada flash-nya.

Trus trus, tadi lagi chitty chatty sama beb ku, dia hari ini baru habis hunting foto lagi sama temen2 se-club fotografi-nya, euw asik banget, jiwa fotografi-ku (ceilee) jadi terpanggil and as I said before, aku jadi pengen punya DLSR juga but lg tongpes, haha.. so, masuk wishlist aja.. my next b'day present? sapa yg mau ngasih? hahaha.. biar bekas jg gpp asal g rusak, wakakak.. melas (kesian) banget seh??!

Ngomong2 ngalor ngidul kesana sini trus akhirnya nanya2.. "kalo bikin effect Lomo d Photoshop gimana ya beb?" akhirnya searching2, nyoba2.. ada beberapa tuts yg aku coba..
Tapi yah.. g tau aku nyoba nya bener apa ga.. masih belajar2, Photoshop juga lom terlalu bisa soal nya.. tempat nya gradient sumthing sumthing aja aku bingung td dmana, nanya2 ama beb dulu, hahaha..

Well, ini beberapa hasil aku pajang.. hehehe..

This one is easy, you can download the actions and just aplly it on your photos. But I don't really like the contrast setting. Well, I guess you need the picture with the right exposure to get the pics came out exactly like the tuts has.














This one is not a Lomo effect tuts, but I thought it's looking vintage, a old prints effect by Denny Tang.

Happy Valentine's Day, Friends..
Yep! that's me! with (again) a new hair, curly.. hehe.. got a little bored with the straight one..
And yep! that's us, him & me, just finished our dinner..
The food was so so.. but we like the mood.. (^^,)*

So glad that we can celebrate Valentine together again, this is our 2nd. We didn't celebrate last year's coz he couldn't come, and this time YAY!!!

Mencuci Golden Half.. SEBAL!!

Penasaran ama kamera Golden Half ini.. begitu udah mencapai angka 36, langsung deh menuju studio foto buat minta cuci transfer..
Tapi sangat lah sebal dengan hasil nya.. which part of it, is also me being stupid, bleh..

First, aku kira sekali jepret trus diputer dia muter setengah, jadi kan 36 to batas e.. ternyata sampai 72.. kan dia pake setengah film aja, jadi kalo film isi 36 bisa jepret foto ampe 72 kali, and ternyata ada hitungan sampai 72 nya..
Aku g inget dah nge-jepret berapa kali, yg pasti banyak.. ternyata.. filmnya masih sisa separuh.

Two, Golden Half ternyata bener2 untuk hari yang cerah and banyak sinar.. kalo malem mesti pake flash.. and hilanglah semua foto barongsai2 itu.. hahaha..
kayak nya mesti beli flash.. colorsplash flash?? hehe..

Three, kebodohan si tukang cuci film. Grrr! Pas beli Golden Half and baca2 ringkasan org, kita mesti hati2 kalo ps mau cuci cetak film. Mesti bener2 kasih tau orang nya kalo kamera yg kita pake itu half-frame camera, and dia mesti perhatiin bener2 film-nya..
Aku dah ngomong panjang lebar and.. hasilnya tetap salah..

I want to put this here before, just got the time..
My last film on Fuji Instax Mini polaroid camera.. I think the film is already expired, it's been in the camera since 2005, haha.. imagine! four years..

Akhirnya aku dah beli.. beberapa waktu yg lalu seh.. hehe.. tepat nya tgl 13 Desember. YAY!
My first Lomo cam is Colorsplash Chakra's edition.
Actually, I want Supersampler to be my first Lomo. I like how it produce four sequencial pics.. tapi pas itu stock nya lagi kosong.. hiks hiks.. Fish eye nya jg lucu, tp udah dipesen orang.
So I chose this, and the store attendant said "It's a good choice" soal nya limited edition.. I hope it is (^^,)*

Kapan hari, foto ini dipake pas pergi2 bareng temen2, mereka pada ngetawain "Jaman serba digital gini, kok lu malah pake kamera jadul gini seh? hahaha.."
Pada ngece2 (kaya ngejek2 gitu) semuanya.. tapi pas terakhir2, mereka jg pada rebutan mau nyobain, hehehe..

Pas pulang jg, Indra penasaran pengen nyobain.. hehe..
Seng pasti kita sama2 mau tau long exposure ama multi nya.. lom gitu ngerti seh.. mesti browsing2 lagi buat cari tips & trick neh, praktek jg mesti banyak2..
