Cupcake..

Seen a lot of cupcake plush and lately cupcakes lagi nge-booming.. banyak orang rame2 jualan cupcake..
Aku juga suka beli..terutama karena suka banget ama bentuk and warna nya yang imut2.. hahaha..
Well, rasa nya juga enak sih (aku baru nyoba yang punya Cupcakes di Supermall, Sby).

Cupcakes ini inspired by Patchwork Pottery, pattern-nya aku tebak2 sendiri..untung jadi nya oke..hehehe.. tp masih g sebagus punya PP sih..

B'day treat, couple owl & Capung..

Malem ini aku sama beb ke Paparon's Pizza.. ditraktir ama satu temen kita yg baru aja ultah beberapa hari yg lalu, hehe.. once again Happy Birthday to Andrew, the expecting Dad.
Paparon's was nice..we tried Tom Yum pizza.. yah, rasanya kecut2 kaya Tom Yum gitu, untung g sepedas Tum Yum asli nya tho and correander nya g ada, haha.. slamet slamet..

As a thankful gesture for the treat, I made Lisa & Andrew a couple owl strap.. hope they like it, and they are coz they are rebutan, hehehe..
Tenang aja Lis, there'll be another one for your b'day, haha..

Abis dari Paparon's we meet up with Indra's photo gank at Capung cafe.. finally liat cafe ini juga setelah beberapa kali cuma liat foto nya d foto2 shoot Indra.. nice place really.. sayang lom sempat foto tapi.
And aku suka teh Capung nya.. kata nya sih hasil ramuan sendiri.. warnanya merah2 gitu, rasanya ada kayu manis and jahe nya.. pedes2 anget.. I like it.
Ga kerasa, ngedengerin beb and temen2nya ngobrol soal kamera sambil kaki abis dilalap nyamuk, dah mau jam setengah sebelas.. time to go home..

Seneng isa spend time with friends.. ngobrol2.. besok kemana lagi yaa?

Ohya, last but not least..
Got a cute gifts from QQ, she just got back from a trip (Malay & Thai) last Sunday..

Wee.. when I was sittin' on Mum's desk at the office today, I just found out that she has an internet connection on her laptop!! YAY!! And it's real fast!! Took me only second to upload pictures and it's just great! langsung deh transfer2 foto ke lappy and upload2 and update blog post yang mestinya dah d post beberapa hari sebelum, hehehe.. gile dehh..

Alangkah bahagia nya.. hehehe..

Ohya, hari ini finally nonton lagi sama beb setelah sekian lamaa..
Fast 'n furious.
Dia udah nonton tapi nonton lagi malem ini buat nemenin aku.. hehe..
Pulang'e dinner di KFC, lagi kepengen, trus beb dwanti2 ama mami e besok2 g boleh lagi makan KFC, dah 2 hari berturut2, hahaha..


And this week has been a crafty week for me.. I made three little flannel dolls already..
Guess it's because I had the time.. I really like it when I make things free-hand (meaning I just cut the fabric without following patterns, add this and that, don't know how it would came up), but the trouble is when you want to make another one.. hahaha..

I was really happy when I visit Singapore last time. Why? Coz there's an exhibition going on.

I found about the exhibition when I got online in my bro's dorm, Shanghai. I got so excited, especially cause I got one more day to spent in Singapore on the way home. This was the first time I'm able to visit any exhibition, especially those in my interest.
I want to go to this kind of exhibition when I visited Singapore few times before, but I always missed the date. The exhibitions were mostly held by MAAD (Market of Artists And Designers) and it's always on the first weeks (1st / 2nd) of the month. When I visit Singapore, it's usually when my Dad has an appointment with his eye doctor, and it's usually at the middle or end of month.. so yea.. I always missed it. hiks hiks.. That's why I'm pretty excited with this one..

I went there last November 27th'08.

It was fun visiting the exhibition although it was not as big as I thought, well, it's a solo.. haha.. I enjoyed it. Nana is a nice person too.. and I troubled her with the tripod when I asked if I can take a photo with her, hehe.. thanks Nana.

My wisdom tooth..

Went to the dentist today.. hiii.. scary..
Wisdom teeth ku pada tumbuh semua, kanan kiri.. yang bikin takut, yang sebelah kiri tumbuh dengan ndusel2in tetangga nya.. alhasil, gigi yang sudah exist duluan itu retak.. udah cuwil malahan.. yang kanan baru bolong gusi nya, si gigi baru mau keluar..
Besok mau foto and senin bakal balik lagi ke si dokter untuk tindakan selanjut nya. Kapan hari waktu belum tau kalo ini adalah gara-gara wisdom teeth, ga kenapa2, nyantei aja.. pas udah tau.. aduh, rasa pipi kemeng, ga enak kepala e, rada2 pusing gitu.. pegel semuaaaa rasa e..

Malem ini, pas chat sama Indra, pas dia juga lagi asik dengan hobby baru nya, papercraft.. so I thought of making something too..
This came up because of all the things that happen lately and still be going on.. things to do with my teeth. So I made a tooth plush. Pattern is from Softies book, 12 cm tall.. with a crying face.. hiks.. he's so scared..
Still not perfect tho.. his head is too round..
It made me think about making a tooth plush series.. maybe a phone string, fridge magnet, keychain, brooch or even bookmarks! haha.. We'll see.. still have a lot of things to do before that.

Poo - wip

Hehe.. baca judul nya jadi ngeri yaa? this is not a real poo.. tenang aja..
Kemarin liat-liat lagi buku-buku flannel ku, trus tertarik buat bikin poo plush ini deh..
mereka mejeng d depan mesin jahit nih.. masih perlu dijahit bawah nya and dikasih faces.. (^^,)*

I made these guitar plushes for my boyfriend birthday, Indra. Today is his birthday..

Why guitar plush? well, he learned to play guitar recently.. he said he wants to play some religious songs that he likes and also, play some romantic songs for me..!! hehehe.. so sweet, isn't he?
So I made these for him.. hope he'll be more excited with his guitar lesson..

Tadpole

I made this for my younger brother.. A tadpole from felt.
It came out rather small, not satisfying.. next time, I'll make him a bigger one, one that's hug able. (^^,)*

Haha made friends..

My Haha made friends (or actually I made her a new friend)!! And they're eating strawberry together.. does cat eat strawberry by the way? haha.. (maybe when they're really hungry and there's no other food to eat)
She just made yesterday.. I wanted to named her Cherrie Cat actually because I got this fabric with big cherry print on it.. I thought of making it into a brooch and stick it to the cat.. apparently it doesn't look the way I expected, so yea.. she ended up wearing Love ribbon.. should I name her Love Cat instead?

Huge Haha Bunny

I made another Haha Bunny.. hehe, crazy about this right now..
But this one's different. I made her (it's a girl, okay? hehe) using towel fabric.. it's soft too.. feels like hugging pile of towel, haha.. and the color is baby yellow.. what do you think? AND.. she's huge too!! The previous one is about 18 x 22cm.. You can use this one as a pillow (^^,)*
I'm planning to make it in various colors.. what do you think of pink. baby blue or even green? hahaha..

But Sprite is Coolman, so he's out of luck.

This is the one that kept me up until 3.30 in the morning.. So excited to make him that I don't get sleepy at all..

Sewing machine attempt 2.. (continued)

As I promised before, I'm going to post some picture on my second attempt making dolls with sewing machine.
As you know, my 1st second attempt is not too successful, in fact, fatal!! Sew the armpit wrong and make holes when trying to fix it. Beside, the hand is too big, his body is too skinny and I stuffed too much cotton in the head. So yea.. I decided to make another one today, the same doll too..
The result.. not that perfect too tho.. his armpits still look kinda weird, hat is too big, the head is kinda lumpy, that's why I made him a scarf. But overall I hope he doesn't look so bad. And really wish Indra will like it, hehe.. since he's the one who ordered it (^^,)*


What to make next ya..?

Sewing machine attempt 2..

I tried to make a new doll with sewing machine last night. Another one from Aranzi Aronzo called Kidnapper.. well, it's called kidnapper cause it looks like one.. haha.. I didn't explain anything huh? It has black suit and trousers, wearing black hat, sneaky face I think and he has a bag to put the children he kidnapped there. Children? sounds like Pit Hitam ya?
So, I cut the fabrics, drew the seam line, start to sew.. hands was okay, head was kind of good, legs was nice, arms and all.. but when I stuffed the upper body with cotton.. gosh! the armpit looks sooooo bad, like it's folded or something and I thought a bit of cutting will make it look good. But instead of looking good, I successfully made holes on them.. GREAT!
Well, shouldn't stop practicing.. we learn from failure. Now we know our mistakes and learn not to make another mistakes and make better dolls!! hahaha..
I didn't get the time to take pictures, I'll post some this afternoon..

Haha Bunny

This is Haha Bunny..

Haha Bunny always laughing "Ha Ha!" so it's called Haha Bunny.

The pattern is from Aranzi Aronzo's book and this is my first kind-of-succeeded attempt with sewing machine (^^,)*. Well, I bought my sewing machine quite a while ago, tried it once, but never use it again until last night.
Suddenly had the urge to do it, so I said, let's do it! If I didn't, I don't know when I'll have the mood again, haha..

It's not that perfect yet, the shape still not perfect, some of the sewing are lose so I have to hand-stitch it.. I used sort of felt fabric, but it's the thinner one, the one that's usually made for babies blanket, so the rabbit is really soft.. love it!!
I'm planning to make some more and bigger ones too.. to practice working with my sewing machine.

Bad Guy from Aranzi Aronzo

Bad guy does bad things

I just made him today!! In fact, finished about 20 minutes ago.. I grabbed my camera, took a shot, edited the picture and make this post.
It's been a while since the last time I make flannel dolls, kinda miss the feeling.. and yeah, once start it, I just can't stop till it's finished. Just can't wait to see how it looks in the end, don't you?

So, here he is, Bad Guy, pattern from Aranzi Aronzo's book.
All made from flannel (or felt) tho.. I couldn't find jersey cloth (the instructions told us to use this material), or actually I don't how how to say it in Indonesian.. so yeah.. I made it from flannel instead. The size is 25 cm in height, I used the pattern drawn in the book. It supposed to be 33 cm with pattern enlarged by 140% as instructed. But I haven't enlarge it, so yea.. here's the small one.. Interested?

Bear story..

Hi! I just finished making him last night, while msg-ing and phoning with my boyfriend ^^,
His name is Edvard! Why Edvard? Well, I have no idea too. The name just popped-up in my head when I was joining his body parts. By the way, you can call him Ed.This is his full picture. He's so small, isn't he? Just the size of my palm, even smaller I think.

Oh-oh! Ed is shy! And he wants to hide behind the blankets! Well, of course, he doesn't have any clothes to wear yet. I'll make some for him soon and post it here and my flickr. He'll become a very cute bear! You'll see (^^,)*
