Me with novel-based-movies..

I just finished reading The Time Traveler's Wife (Audrey Niffenegger) this afternoon, and WOW.. just can't wait till the movie is released. I hope it's as good.. I'll be expecting a lot of flash backs (going back and forth between the past and future) as it is so in the book. But, seeing the trailer, I think it's going to be a bit different, hmm..

Sometimes I wonder, why do I always have the tendency to do this.. whenever there's a novel-based-movie, I'll look for the book and read it before I see them. And most of the time, end up with disappointment, ugh.. except for The Lord of The Rings, because I haven't read the book.. the movie came out before I can have my hand on the novels and after I saw the movie, I just lost the appetite to read, hahaha.. I did read a few chapters but didn't finish it because my friend was reading it (and the book is his, so yea.. I didn't bother to borrow either, haha..).

So far, Harry Potter was nice, although they change some scenes and shorten them a bit, it's nice.. but I don't really like the last one.. because they burned down the Burrow (Weasley's house), while there supposed to be a wedding there on the 7th book.. huh?! Where else Bill and Fleur gonna get married now?

Inkheart, from the book Titenhertz by Cornelia Funke was a big disappointment (well, for me). The scenes just jumping from one to another and if you haven't read the book, you might don't understand the story.. well, that's what I think..
I don't like The Secret of The Moon Acre too.. the movie is not like what I have imagine when I was reading it..
Ahh.. Twilight!! The book itself is a love fantasy actually, but it's okay.. the movie not so okay tho.. the feelings shown, not as deep as in the book, hahaha.. now I'm talking like I'm an expert, haha.. well, just sharing the thought.

So far, to me, the books-based-movies are not as good as the book itself.. or maybe, I should just stop. See the movie first and then read it. Hey! I just remembered, one good novel-based-movie, P.S. I love You!! haha..
Maybe it's because it's a drama story so it makes it easier, while with fantasies, readers have the whole universe to imagine, and each may be different from the others ya?
I'll stop complaining too much.. besides, all the script writers, directors, producers, the artist, all the people behind the scenes.. they have worked so hard.. I should appreciate that, but (still) the audience just want MORE!! (hahaha..)

I think we all have known this story since we're kids.. about a little girl named Alice Kingsley who followed a white rabbit, dressed in a coat and carrying a watch (which is not usual, even to our eyes, right?). She followed the rabbit to a rabbit's hole which then lead her to a fantasy world.. where she met the Red Queen, Catepillar, Mad Hatter, March hare, Dormouse, Chessire cat (quite an attractive character, right?) and faced some fascinating yet strange adventure..

And have you heard? They say that Tim Burton is going to make Alice in Wonderland movie!! YAY!!
It stars famous actors and actresses too.. such as Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat, Alan Rickman as the Caterpillar, Crispin Glover as the Knave of Hearts and Matt Lucas (star of Little Britain) casts as Tweedledum and Tweedledee. Last but not least, a 19 year old Australian actrees named Mia Wasikowsa will play as Alice.
It is said that they start filming since May 2008 and the movie was originally to be released in 2009, but it was pushed to March 5, 2010.
How it will be? hmm.. I have no idea.. but I found some pictures of the characters and I think it will be exciting!!

Oh yea, before I forgot.. I saw my friend's post, about this cute movie based on a true story of a faithful dog named Hachiko. I want to see he it too (add it on my list already), it stars Richard Gere too.. handsome old man, hahaha..

Satu lagi film dari pembuat film legendaris, Hayao Miyazaki!!! Ponyo on a Cliff by the Sea!!!
For those who has watched (and love) Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle pasti akrab deh sama nama satu ini.. and dari gambar nya juga sudah pasti ketebak kalo film ini punya dia..

Bener2 deh.. merrinding aku pas liat trailler nya.. TOP MARKOTOP!! and this is on the first list of my MUST SEE movie!! hehe..

Keren kaaaaaann???!!!
Film ini udah d release d Jepang Juli 2008 kemarin and sekarang film ini bakal d release di Amerika 14 Agustus nanti. And mudah2an bisa di release di Indonesia juga yah.. rasanya ga pernah deh film animasi bikinan Studio Ghibli ditayangin di Indonesia.
Tapi kayak e sih ada kemungkinan, soal nya yang punya gawe juga Chief Creative Officer nya Pixar and Disney Animation, John Lasseter, bekerja sama dengan Frank Marshall and Kathleen Kennedy. Rata2 film gawean Pixar ama Disney pasti masuk bioskop Indo kan???
Kalo pun apes, g masuk Indo.. semoga d pasar2 alias tempat jual DVD bajakan ada.. hahahaha..

Yang ngisi suara untuk English nya keren2 loh..Noah Cyrus (is she Miley Cyrus's sister?) as Ponyo, Frankie Jonas (the youngest of Jonas Brothers) as Sasuke. And yang lain Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Tina Fey, Cloris Leachman, Liam Neeson, Lily Tomlin and Betty White.

And yet!!

Drag me to dentist..

Haha.. udah tiga hari ini, kerjaan ku kalo malem cuma bolak balik k dokter gigi.. nganterin adek yg bru dateng dr Shanghai.. secara gigi dah bolong semua and pas konsul k dokter, ternyata dia perlu pake kawat.. wah, dpt temen deh aku.. ('^,)*

Sebelum dikawat, gigi2 nya di periksa dulu, klo ada yg bolong harus ditangani dulu sebelum terlambat.. and yak sodara2.. banyak bolong kecil-keciiiillll.. doh, ampe capek aku nemenin nya..

Pas hari ketiga, which is today.. adekku bilang, "hari ini kita nonton yuk, masa aku pulang kerjaannya drag me to dentist terus, nonton apa kek.. yukk!!"
And dia desak2 banget ngajakkin nonton, soal nya besok dah pulang ke Banjar, pengen nonton bertiga gitu ama cece nya, hehehe..
Padahal ngantuuuuk banget abis nemenin dia.. tp emang nasib semobil, and kalah suara dua lawan satu.. terpaksa deh ikutan nonton.. drag me to theatre jadi nya.. wakakak *hush jayuss..
And beneran, mereka beli Drag Me to Hell.. doh! Beb dah cerita, temennya bilang ngerii.. aku dah g pengen liat aja and paling klo nonton pun ama beb kali.. tp baby, dui bu qi, adek2 nih!!

ASLI!! nih film bener2 tiring alias melelahkan, sport jantung terus jadi nya.. g ada habis2nya ngagetin orang.. jalan cerita nya agak2 gampang ditebak, dibilang horror g juga, soalnya ada jayus2nya and sempet ada beberapa scene yang bikin ketawa.. banyak yg bilang not good, soal e horror komedi kali yaa.. klo aku sih g recommend, abis bikin jantungan! haha..

Pesan moral dari film ini, JANGAN EGOIS!! menurut ku sih.. jangan untuk kepentingan diri sendiri trus kita mengorbankan orang lain, and harus berani mengakui kesalahan.
Hehehe.. kayak nya itu aja deh.. capeeek..

Coraline.. me want to see..

Just browsing on some flickr friends' blogs and I found this..
A movie from the director of Nightmare Before Christmas.. another dark fantasy movie based on a novel by British author Neil Gaiman (published in 2002), Coraline.

I think I'm gonna like it ('^,)* I really want to see.. and it stars Dakota Fanning as Coraline!! sip deh!! I really like the girl since the serial, Taken. Two thumbs up for her!!!

I wonder.. ada ga ya DVD nya disini.. the movie was released on February 2009, but I haven't seen it yet.. when I googled it up, it's supposed to be released in Indo around June 13th.
Oh well, kalah ama Wolverine, Terminator and Drag Me to Hell I guess, haha..
Although it is animated, but horror is not something kids want to see.. by the way, I'm waiting for Ice Age 3 and Up too.. hehehe..

BBF - must see (^^,)*

Hehehe..kemarin dah tamat nih liat drama Korea satu ini.. Boys Before Flowers. Udah pada tau? Sekarang sih katanya lg main di Indosiar juga mulai 1 Juni kemarin. Film ini sama ama serial Taiwan, Meteor Garden.. sama2 adaptasi dari manga Hana Yori Dango by Kamio Yoko.

Ceritanya ada yang agak2 beda, tapi overall sama lah.. soal seorang gadis dari kalangan biasa Geum Jan Di (BBF) or Shan Cai (MG) yang somehow masuk bersekolah d sekolah jetset yg khusus org2 kaya or "terpilih" aja yg bisa masuk.. trus mereka berdua ini saking ga suka sama ketidakadilan, yg semena2, sombong dll.. melawan lah sama geng yg paling ditakuti d sekolah, yg isinya adalah anak2 org terkaya se-Korea, paling berpengaruh and berkuasa, F4!!
Dikejar2, diteror anak2 satu sekolah yg tunduk sama perintah grup F4, sampe akhirnya bikin ketua geng, si Goo Joon Pyo (BBF) or Dao Ming Si (MG) jadi terpesonaaa.. wakakak.. jadilah film ini tentang perjuangan kisah cinta mereka yg beda status, kasta and segala macem nya.



Worthed kok ditonton, emang ada jayus2 nya gitu, but I like it.
Klo boleh bilang, malah aku lebih suka yg versi Korea ini daripada versi Taiwan nya yg lebih dulu melejit, Meteor Garden. Soalnya ga terlalu berbelit2, feel e lebih dalem and si Geum Jan Di (Shan Cai disini) akhirnya sekolah kedokteran. Kalo si Shan Cai dulu jadi apa ya?
Trus pake ada Meteor Garden 2 lagi, ketambahan Ye Sha lagi.. pusing pusiiiing g abis2.. walau masih mending daripada sinetron Indo yg suka nya ampe dua ratusan episode, hehe..

Ohya, ada satu scene yg aku suka banget.. pas si Geum Jan Di saking udah marah banget sama si Goo Joon Pyo yg nyuruh anak2 satu sekolah buat ngerjain dia.. Geum Jan Di dateng k private lounge nya F4 d sekolah, marah2in tuh si Goo Joon Pyo, and the last touch is *drum rolls... tendangan putar Geum Jan Di!!! Well, something you don't get to see in MG.. as far as I remember, rasa e d MG g ada. hehehe.. pas liat, reaksi ku langsung sama ama si Goo Joon Pyo nya.. terpanaaa.. hahahaha.. tendangan putar yg bikin fall in love, hohoho.. (^^,)*
Sayang nih g nemu cut scene nya d youtube, and aku jg g bisa motong2 video.. hehehe.. tp dapet foto nya neh.. hohoho..

Pas nyari2 foto neh, nemu berita2 nya mereka juga..
Pemeran Geum Jan Di, Koo Hye Sun, ternyata membuat novel juga loh.. kalo g salah judulnya Tango and sejak release 1 April kemarin, sudah terjual sebanyak tiga puluh ribu kopi. Trus trus, dia juga menyutradarai film pendek "The Cheerful Caretaker" yang diputar di 2009 Busan Asian Short Film Festival. Keren yak?!





Trus ada satu lagi nih.. diliat2 sepanjang film.. oh my gawd!! Lee Min Hoo ama Jerry Yan tuh muirip poll!! Wel, menurutku sih.. di foto g gitu, tp pas liat film e, kok rasa e miriiip gitu..

Wee.. when I was sittin' on Mum's desk at the office today, I just found out that she has an internet connection on her laptop!! YAY!! And it's real fast!! Took me only second to upload pictures and it's just great! langsung deh transfer2 foto ke lappy and upload2 and update blog post yang mestinya dah d post beberapa hari sebelum, hehehe.. gile dehh..

Ohya, hari ini finally nonton lagi sama beb setelah sekian lamaa..

Guess it's because I had the time.. I really like it when I make things free-hand (meaning I just cut the fabric without following patterns, add this and that, don't know how it would came up), but the trouble is when you want to make another one.. hahaha..

Movie Marathon & Iga Bakar..

YAY!!! Another holiday.. enak jg ya kalo libur e dua hari kaya gini, hahaha..
Pagi ini bangun karena sms "Good morning" dari si doi, hehe.. jadi malu cowoknya bangun lebih pagi. Ga papa lah ya libur2 ginii.. ('^,)*

Today g ada rencana apa2, jadi aku stay at home aja all day.. mau ngerjain pesenan flanel buat anniversary-nya temen trus nonton DVD yang dibeli kemarin. Hari ini MOVIE MARATHON!!
I watched 3 movies today..
Twilight (finally), Heartbreak Library & My Wife Got Married.















Twilight was NO GOOD!! Bleh.. bener2 g kaya d buku deh rasa nya.. scene nya banyak yg beda, trus orang2nya jg g kaya yg aku bayangin. I never imagine that Jacod would be gondrong!! bener2 omg deh..
Jalannya terlalu cepet, kayak e kurang mulus gitu.. trus love scene e jg g terlalu bagus menurutku, kurang dramatis kaya d buku. Feel antara Edward ama Bella, rasa cinta e, menderita e, desperate, pokok e kurang gereget gitu.. perasaan e mereka tuh kurang kesampean rasa e.. well, aku bukan yg ahli film atau apa, tapi kurang sip aja pokok e.

Heartbreak Library was OK. It's a nice love story..

and My Wife Got Married was insane!! I don't really get the idea of a woman having two husbands. What da!?
But yea.. Son Ye Jin was GREAT!! This is her comeback movie and she got the best actress from this one. The movie got so many critics, because of the sex scene and some vulgar words.. there's a scene where Ye Jin is wearing nothing under her rain coat and yes, we can see her wearing nothing here. Naughty seductive Ye Jin hidden under her angelic face ya? haha..
I enjoy the movie and guessing how the ending would be.. I just don't get the idea of having two husbands. Insane really!

I still got Slumdog Millionaire. Maybe I'll watch it tomorrow or next weekend.
The next movie I'm going to get maybe The Naked Kitchen (Shin Min Ah is playing here) and Antiques (I think this is a gay movie). I hope they're great ones.

Sorenya.. Yeane called whether I want to come along to have dinner at Sidoarjo, mau makan iga bakar. Ya ikut dong, pengen nyoba.. soal e Yeane & Oscar suka kesana.. feel like I want to taste them myself.
Malem nya dijemput, kita, Google Five (or Power Rangers or whatever lah.. karena ber-5) pergi bareng2 k sana..
Nyampe sana.. WUIHH!! tempat e rameeee banget.. and iga bakar e ABISSS!! Lidah bakar juga abis.. akhirnya pada makan sirloin semua.. murah meriah euy, cuma Rp. 20.000.
Kapan2 deh kesana lagi, tapi pagian supaya g kehabisan, hehehe..

Pulang e chat & telponan ama darl.. hmm.. miss him so, wish I can meet him soo.

In a korean mood - the Classic

Hmm.. gara2 kesengsem sama lagu nya Alex, aku jadi nyari2 lirik lagu, browsing2 and gosh! nemu klip video ost. film Korea yg paliiing aku suka. The Classic a.k.a Keulrasik.
A 2002 Korean movie, but I just found out about it on 2004, while studying in Beijing and fall in love with it and the actress, Son Ye Jin (손예진). After that, I always watch most of her movies ('^,)*

The thing I like about the Classic is the story, ya iya lah ya.. if the story is not interesting, will you watch it? haha.. guess not. It's a love story between a boy and a girl, but always had her girl friend in between, her friend likes this guy too. But it's just the ending that I love, when they both realize that her mother and his father are actually lovers in their youth lives. Wee.. fate? I don't know.. maybe.. and the SONG!! I love it so much.. I never knew the title, I just listened to it over and over while remembering the scene when the song appears.. when they both running under the rain, awwww.. so romantic.. (am I being corny? haha.. who cares?!).

Red Cliff II..

Watched this movie, RED CLIFF II with my friends last night..
One word.. AWESOME!!
I really like it. I've seen the first one and it's just as awesome.
I like the war strategies, so smart, brilliant if you want to add it.
I could never imagine someone could ever thing of that and read the opponent's mind too.. Waaaa.. I always smile to myself and giggle a little when I realize what will happen next in the movie before the enemy does. Pokoknya kagum deh ama jalan pikir nya Zhu Ge Liang ama Zhou Yu.. Waaaa..

In the end, I still think that the war is kinda started because of Xiao Qiao (Zhou Yu's wife) though.. hehe..

Well, DON'T MISS IT!!
You won't regret. Those of you who hasn't seen the 1st, better see it first before watching the 2nd.. ntar ga seruuu..

Twilight.. the new Harry Potter?

It seems that everybody is talking about a movie and novel, Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. The girls are talking and sometimes in high pitch and hysterically about the main male character, Edward Cullen. And the boys just go "what so good about him that made girls go crazy like that?" haha.. And I just have no idea that time, I haven't read the book.

Honestly, I don't have any interest at all about it (at first, I have to add).
But then, my boyfriend's sister were telling me about it; that she finished the Indonesian version of Twilight in just four hours and that she's asking her friend in Spore to buy her the limited edition and how excited she was when she got them in her hands.. I really don't have any idea what make it so interesting. Then, she hand me the book.. at first, (to be honest) I took it as a polite response coz she brought it for me. I don't know whether I'll read it or not.. hehe.. sorry QQ, Cece was not that interested the first time.

As I'm going back to Surabaya soon after, I brought the book with me.. I started reading it two days ago, when I couldn't found anything new to read.. I just still remembered every detail stories of my novel and comic books.. hehe.. so I started reading.. and yeah!! Once I set my eyes in it, I just lost track of time. It consumed me, to make it sound more dramatic, kind of possessed, thirst (like a vampire for blood) and dying to know how the story goes.. haha.. Like last night, I thought I'll just read a chapter or two after chatting with Indra, but then, two hours passed.. gosh!!
And I just finished it today.. fiuhh.. and QQ, may I borrow the next? hehe.. I sort of asked a friend if her sister could buy me the novels when she's coming home later. hehe..
I said to myself, "Now you know it, Jeanne!"
hahaha.. it just keep you curious and curious what will happen next, and I had to admit, I like the girl, Bella and the boy, Edward is just charming indeed. No wonder girls fall in to him.

I haven't watched the movie tho. I saw the poster and wonder the girls are so crazy about this pale skinny guy??? Maybe coz I haven't seen him in a better look, well, we'll see..
Then I just learned, that the cast for Edward Cullen is actually Robert Pattinson, the very same one playing Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter, and yeaa.. he's not that cute!! Why?? I don't think it's the right cast, haha.. well, it's only my opinion, it's ok if you other girls disagree.
Well, I couldn't think of other option too tho, the one playing in my head while reading it was faceless.. the most I see is just the hands, figures, and all different from the movie poster I just saw. I thought Alice would look great in silky blonde hair and Rosalie would be so mysteriously gorgeous in dark hair and red apple lips, but DANG!! just the opposite.. haha..


I just browsed on the movie just now, and saw the trailer and decided "it's not as good as the book".
It's true what people say, "better see the movie first, and then read the book"
You'll see a lot of things missing and just not fall in the right place like in the book. Sometimes they add and change things so that it can fit in, but it just made us (ones that already read the book) think, "Hey, that's not right. It's supposed to be like this..".

But I still want to know how it is, the movie..

Kemarin malem diajakin temen2 nonton film ini.. kayak nya sih keren..
Awal2 film nya juga bagus.. pesan nya lumayan jelas lah.. another Go Green movie kayak The Happening gitu, tp untung ending nya g se-mengecewakan The Mist.

Kalo dari judulnya, kirain hari dimana bumi berhenti berputar. Bener kan? Stood still.. artinya kan stop gitu, hehe.. tapi ternyata ceritanya ada alien gitu dateng mau menyelamatkan bumi dari kehancuran yg ditimbulkan manusia.. gimana caranya? liat aja deh.. haha.. cerita nya cuma gitu aja.. tapi kena jg sih, we have to change, human. haha..

Effect2nya ok juga, yang pasti banyak sinar2 putih menyilaukan and aku ama temen2 yg duduk d kursi no 4 dari depan, akhirnya keluar dgn mata kaya org baru bangun tidur.. rada merah and berair semua.. capek deeh, napaaa kok bisa dapet nomer segitu, haha..

Habis itu, masih 9.30, pikir mau ganjel dulu.. soalnya pada laper & aku baru dinner pop corn tok, haha.. k Excelso deh.. sekalian bagi2 oleh2 aku k Shanghai kemarin and Yeane & Oscar jg ngasih oleh2 mereka abis honeymoon cruise and jalan2 d Singapore.. fridge magnet, chocolate and little animal dolls.. YAY!

Denger2 heboh banget beritanya.. bakal ada adegan kissing antara Tukul Arwana and Luna Maya.. OH MY!!

Ada yg bilang kalo Luna Maya nya ampe stress mikirin adegan2 mesra nya dengan Tukul.. saya juga stress kali kalo mau dicium orang yg ngocol nya kaya Tukul. Bukan mau ngenyek, tapi mboh wat, gaya nya itu loh.. and tampang2 nyosor nya.. apa gak gilo? hehehe.. sorry pak Tukul.. *ampun..

Well, akhir nya kita nonton, emang sih banyak scene si Tukul nyosor2in Luna Maya, coel2, nge-cuan (ngambil untung), trus nekat meluk sambil monyong2 mau nyium.. si Luna cuma bisa nutup wajah e, sambil bergidik.. kayak lagu jaman dulu.. "merinding bulu roma ku.." oh mi god.. hehehe..
Tapi ya itu, berita yang sempat heboh soal adegan kissing mereka berdua.. tenyata g ada..

Kecewa? sedikit, soal nya berita nya gembar gembor banget, tapi ternyata g ada. Tapi ya bersyukur juga, jadi si Luna Maya g ampe trauma, hehehe..

Soal cerita, bagus kok.. nonton aja, hehehe..

Yang main jg asik2, Tukul Arwana and Luna Maya (of course), Tora Sudiro, Ria Irawan, Jurike Prastika, Yeyen Lidya, and Hj. Leila Sari (tapi aku g notice beliau loh.. jd pengen iat lg dia d scene yg mana.. hehe..).

"It's a National Holiday!!!" like I said to Indra last night, and while he's still wondering, I told him, "It's my Mum's birthday". And he laughed so hard, hahaha..

We made a surprise for her last night, thanks to D for the idea.
So, late at night, before 12, my father sneaked out of his bedroom and get in again with a rose bouquet in his hand and us bringing cakes and confetti to be popped on the bed (we cancelled the confetti coz it makes a loud noise and my youngest brother has fallen asleep beside my Mum. We don't want to wake him. But we did popped it in the morning and Sean loves it so much.).

So yea.. Late night surprise, singging happy birthday to our sleepy mother, kiss on the lips from Dad (*aww..) and hugs and kisses from us too.. *mwah mwah.. and we go back to bed..


Birthday dinner? Nothing special, soalnya lagi bosen makan makanan Chinese and even Western, thank you for the tour, we're a bit bored of it still, but pizza is cool.. So we had dinner at Izzi, Sutos; right after we watched Red Cliff. Great story, great movie, great actors, great war strategy and the army formation. It's really cool, how can they predict their enemies moves? It's worth to watch, altho I'm pretty upset with the end. Why? Can't tell, it will spoil the excitement, right?! hehe..

Finally.. watched this funny movie..
It is really like everybody said, funny from the beginning till the end. I wonder what happened to Tai Lung though..

And as expected too.. the studio is crammed with little children.. but thanks, they are not the ones that loves to ask what is this and that during the movie.. Not that I don't like children and answer their questions, but yea.. when you go to movies, you want to enjoy that right?! hehe..

Well, I enjoy the movie.. enjoy the big pack of pop corn too, haha..

Watched this movie with my friends yesterday..
Buat yang belum nonton, kalo kalian mengharapkan film nya bakal thrilling kaya Saw atau kalian pengen menyaksikan amukan alam kaya apa yah? g bisa mikir film apa. . haha.. yah, pokoknya jangan expect kalo film ini bakal greget banget. Temen2 ku aja pas film nya selesai dengan bahasa jawa yang medhok pada bilang..

"Loh, trus maksud e opo?" (red. " Loh, maksudnya apa?")

"Leh, wes mari? Mek gitu tok ta?" (red. "Loh, udah selesai? Cuma gitu aja ya?")

Wes dah.. reaksi ini bisa dimaklumi karena yang bikin film adalah tiada lain dan tiada bukan..

JRENG JRENG JRENG!

Mr. M. Night Shyamalan.

Yah, pakar nya bikin film-film ga jelas maksudnya, kecuali kalo kita mikiiiiiiiiirr mikir and mikir, kayak Lady in the Water. Aku ga liat film ini, penasaran sih, judulnya kan kaya dongeng-dongeng gitu and I love fairy tales. Adekku bilang "udah, g usah liat film ini". Well, I did try to watch it, but I fell asleep.. hahaha.. g tertarik sejak awal e.. atau karena pemain e g menarik kali ya? haha..
Akhir-akhir ini film e Shyamalan emang aneh-aneh sih ya.. kayak nya punya maksud yang dalaaam gitu, yg semua orang susah ngerti'in.
Di website nya dibilang kalo inspirasi film ini muncul saat dia lewat d country side nya new Jersey, liat pepohonan and daun-daun yang tertiup angin, and langsung mikir "bagaimana kalo suatu hari alam berbalik kepada kita?" nge-bales dendam gitu ceritanya.. tapi oh my, yang dipilih ama dia bukan gunung berapi yang bisa meletus, lembah yang gundul trus longsor karena ulah kita.. tapi pepohonan yang ga bisa ngapa-ngapa'in, yang cuma diem kalo diukir-ukir nama sejoli yang lagi kasmaran, yang cuma bisa bunyi reot-reot kalo dgantungin ayunan (apalagi kalo yang naikin sumo), yang cuma bisa tumbang kalo dtebang, yang cuma bisa diem ajaaa.. dan film nya pun dengan sukses nya bikin orang se-bioskop bingung.

Well, aku rasa sih dia cuma pengen nyampe'in kalo kita mesti bersahabat sama alam. Jangan dikerukin terus hasil nya.. maruk pengen dapet minyak akhirnya malah dapet lautan lumpur kan? Terus terang, alam emang kayak nya terancam dengan semakin banyak nya jumlah populasi manusia di dunia, di bumi kita ini.. padang rumput, hutan-hutan yang jaman dulu tumbuh subur, buebas.. sekarang udah semakin berkurang. Berubah jadi kota-kota baru, hutan gundul dipotongin kayu nya, bahkan ampe gunung aja ada yang tingal sebelah karena dikerukin ama manusia.. makanya si Shyamalan milihnya pohon, yang paling g berdaya diantara semua.. yang paling g berdaya sekalipun kalo disakitin terus menerus bisa membalas juga akhirnya..

Grey's Anatomy

I've been watching Grey's Anatomy series lately.. just finished season 1, thanks to QQ for the DVDs (^^,)* I know I'm so late in this, it's already in season 4 now..
Love it cause it has Patrick Dempsey in it, woohoo!! I start to be a fan since the Enchanted.
Didn't notice him in any other movies before, I love watching movies, but I cannot find him in any movie I watched, maybe because I just found the character (he played) that I like.
Really like him in this, playing as Derek Shepherd, a caring, compassionate, charming, smart doctor, love the glow in his eyes when he's looking at Meredith.. But I kinda hate him in the last episode of season 1. Just found out that he actually already has a wife! Darn it! Just when you thought you knew someone, and you didn't! Hate Dempsey! You better have a good reason for this.. Guess the answer is on season 2, better check it out.. haha..
Really wish that he'll end up with Meredith.. *fingers crossed

Don't tell me anything you who have watched it, I'm warning you!! haha..

Juno

Couldn't sleep last night, so I went to my brothers' room.
He was checking some DVDs he bought for his girlfriend.
We saw Meet the Spartans and my comment is "....", it's a ridiculous movie, edan for sure.
And the second one is JUNO.. I bet you all know about it already.

It's about a 16 years old girl named Juno just learned that she got pregnant with his friend Bleeker. She didn't plan this. At first, she tried to get an abortion, but then she decide to gave birth of her baby. Turning a negative situation to a positive one, she tried to find an adoption parents for her child. Lucky Juno, her parents are so supportive too.. Well, she realize her condition, "ill-equipped" she said as a high school teenager, so she just want to find her child a family that will love and take care of her child.
She finally found Mark and Vanessa. Vanessa's been longing to have a child and couldn't have one on her own.

It is so sad when you can't bear your own child, isn't it? I don't want that. In fact, I admit that I want to be pregnant someday, a child from my beloved future husband. I dream about it. I bet it is a wonderful feeling to have something, your fruit of love living inside you. I don't understand my pregnant friends, they used to say things like..
"oh, I cannot wear my old clothes anymore", "it's not comfortable being pregnant", "it's so tiring" etc etc.. hmm.. don't you think your baby can hear you? Some of our emotion also affect our baby's health right?
A child is a miracle, isn't it? You should tell yours that.
I cried watching this movie you know? Thank God I didn't decide to wait till it played in the movies.. haha..

P.S. I Love You

THIS, definitely is a MUST-Watch movie..
I haven't tho. Was planning to when my boyfriend came, but we didn't. Many things came up, like soaked in the rain, it's late and I have to go home early.. but I guess DVD will be great too. Promise you won't watch it first ya darl.. hahaha..

I read the book two days ago, and I finished it in overnight. Gosh! It's beautiful!! And my favorite character definitely is Gerry!!! haha.. well, of course. Girls must be crazy about him, moreover with a handsome face like Gerard Butler, just perfect! The only thing I don't want is his illness and short age.

Read the book, watched the preview.. I think there are lots of differences between the book and movie.. for one thing, Holly receive all the letters all at once, in a box. In the movie, Gerry sent her one by one (I guess, well, once again, I haven't watch the movie). And he also uses tape recorder..
Well, movie supposed to make it more lively, right? Hmm.. makes me more curious and want to see it so much.. grrr...

Hmm.. since I have finished this one (too!), I need another book.

High School Musical 2 & losing weight attempt

Watched High School Musical 2 last Sunday, 9th Sept'07 (its' premiere today!), hahaha... you must've thought I'm such a kid, to be in to teen movies. Well, if it's good, I can't see why not?!
To tell you the truth, I'm so into cartoon movies, been collecting them since high school (that's when I have more money to save so I can buy my favorite things, haha..). Most of them are Disney's; Cinderella, Snow White, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, etc. I also have some Japanese cartoons, a lifetime favorites; Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle, by Hayao Miyazaki. They have great animations..
I just love it.. these children movies, teen movies.. they have good influence too you know.. well, they give a good values and examples for children, like friendships, attitude, honesty, how to believe in yourself and a lot of other things.
I hope to show these movies to my future children too.. hehe..

K then, I guess this is all for now. I want to go to bed, so sleepy..
Just went swimming this afternoon. You know, I wanted to lose weight.. I'm so overweight now.. I wish to lose at least 5 kilos, so I went to gym, swimming pools.. Tried RPM yesterday, a friend of mine said it's good for losing weight, you will sweat a lot. So I tried it, and yea.. I sweat a lot, but my butt hurt so bad because of the bike saddle!! I wonder if I'm going to try that again.
So, for now on, there will be only three exercise; treadmill, yoga and swim.
